Family, bdays, crafts, dates, and disasters

Back in early March I finally got to meet Stefan's siblings.  We got to Buca Di Beppo a little early, so, of course we had to take selfies.

It was so much fun!  Stefan has some really funny, upbeat, smart and witty siblings!  They were really just awesome people who made me feel welcome right away!  So, not only is my boyfriend wonderful, but he has a great group of siblings!

Next up was Stefan's birthday.  Luckily it fell on a day that I didn't have school, so, I swung by his work with a bacon wrapped birthday pizza for lunch!

For the past month or so, I had been working dedicatedly on crocheting a blanket for Stefan's birthday.  It's kinda a dumb present, but he was so nice about it and seemed to genuinely enjoy it!

I then took Stefan to the Hard Rock Rocksino for his birthday.  Stefan collects the hard rock shirts and didn't have one from the rocksino yet, so, we went and had dinner and bought him a shirt!  HE was so surprised and had a blast!!

For our next date, Stefan surprised me and took me to Artist for a Day.  We picked out goblets and decorated them for each other.  I made Stefan a bad ass goblet of fire, while he customized my goblet with my name and books and hearts (so sweet)!!

Next weekend Stefan had a gig with his German band.  He was so sick!  He was coughing and congested and I wouldn't have been surprised if it was a bit feverish too....yet he still went to his gig.  Because I had bought a ticket, I got dressed up and went over to listen to some oompapa music.

I could not get a great picture of Stefan, so, it's more a game of where's waldo trying to find stefan in the pictures/video I took.  Can you find him?

To help Stefan feel better, I made him some chocolate chip banana bread.  I have yet to successfully cook him anything, and this was no exception.  I managed to drop it on the floor, but it was mostly salvageable, so I gave it to him anyway, and he was a good sport about it.

Speaking of cooking, I found a recipe for bacon wrapped cheese sticks so I tried making them.  While they look a mess, they sure tasted delicious!

For St. Patrick's day, Stefan had one hour between work and band practice, and he used that hour to come hang out with me!  Seriously, how sweet is he?!

We usually have dinner together on our Wednesday date nights, and this past week, Stefan did the cooking.  We had bacon cheeseburgers!  I had an egg on mine, and no bun, while stefan had a double cheeseburger!

To help burn off all of those cheesy hamburger calories, I've been trying to go to the gym.  Can I just take a minute to tell you how much I LOVE planet fitness?  I splurged and got the 20 dollar a month membership and it has made all of the difference!  Using the massage chairs after working out leaves me feeling happy, and so far, has prevented any major back problems which I usually get when I start working out.

For our last date, to help me celebrate finishing my classes for the semester, Stefan took me to a restaurant that his mom recommended.  It is called Mellow mushroom.  Stefan got a build your own calzone while I did a build your own salad.  Everything was SO delicious!!

I'll be meeting Stefan's mom on friday, and will be spending Easter with their family in a few weeks.  It's been a wild ride so far and I can't wait to see what the futre with Stefan holds!
