Sappy Romance and Balloon Ladies

Let's start off with the balloon ladies.  Someone donated Anna and Elsa balloons to the Oberlin Public Library.  The little kids were ecstatic and would sometimes sequel with delight when they saw them.

Now on to sappy romancey type things.  Stefan has been so super awesome for these last two weeks.  He made me dinner, spaghetti and meat sauce with sausage AND bacon caesar salad (please note the lipstick mark on his cheek.  I love giving cheek kisses when wearing red lipstick lol).

I made him bacon wrapped chicken with broccoli.  Mmmmm...bacon wrapped deliciousness.

And Stefan was sweet enough to make sure he had my favorite soda on tap.  I'm a diet kinda gal and he's a regular kinda guy.

But the HANDS DOWN, best thing about have a super cute, wonderful boyfriend, during a Cleveland winter is this:  He scrapes off my windshield!!!!!!

ALL THE SWOONS!!  I'm going to meet his friends on Saturday.  I was hoping he would meet mine, but alas and alack, they're too sick to go out :(

Dating, Buttons, Internship and Music

Shortly after returning from Philly, Stefan took me out to Deweys Pizza in Lakewood.  I got the BEST salad, and he got a bacon pizza (yum)!  We had a great time laughing and getting to know each other better.  He's a pretty cool guy!

Do you remember my blog from last month when I spent part of my birthday sewing a button on my coat.  A few weeks later a DIFFERENT button fell off.  I so dislike sewing buttons :(

Between dates, with the awesome Stefan, work, school and my internship I've been crazy busy and slightly stressed out.  Thank goodness my internship is so much fun!  Last week I attended a science parfait class.  It was fun and informative!

On Tuesday of this week, Stefan invited me to go hear his swing band, Swing City, play at Vosh Night club.

It was AMAZING!   He, of course, looked super cute in a suit:

The band had two singers, a male and a female (please note sexy Stefan in the back of all of the pictures)

Stefan used all sorts of different mutes for his trombone.  My favorite was this behemoth:

And he looked all around handsome:

Fox 8 News showed up and recorded the gig:

I even got a couple of clips of the band, and the people dancing to their music!

Overall it was a pretty spectacular night!  I talked my friend Amanda into coming to their February gig!

Last thing, I was thinking about scrapping the red lipstick look.  What do you think fellow blog readers?

Christmas to Present

When I arrived home in Cleveland on Christmas day, I found my gift (gift card to MAC) from Jeff, which had a sweet card with it <3 <3

Shortly after arriving home, I had a second date with Stefan.  He is literally the best!  We went to crocker park to look at lights and then walked around the Barnes and Noble.  He's pretty cute, right?

Since then we've been on another date to Dave and Busters, and have a 4th one planned this up coming Saturday!  All the Swoons <3

The only other things worth mentioning are the fact that I got my bangs cut (they were getting pretty unruly:

For new years I got a new outfit.  It's nice to have something cute now that I've lost 80 lbs.  80 down, 90 to go!  Happy new year!

Next semester (LAST SEMESTER) starts on Monday, so between working, internship, school and dating, The blogs are going to be few and far between.  Only 5 more months till school is over and my life can go back to normal!

I'll be Home for Christmas pt 2

Christmas started off nice and quiet  It was just Mom and Dad and myself.  I really didn't need anything for Christmas, but the parents knew just what I needed and gave it to me!

I gave them a homemade gift:

and they gave each other gifts:

Then the fun began.  Mom and dad made breakfast before everyone.  When baby Henry arrived, can you guess who he went running to?  Yup, Grandpa:

Breakfast was eggs and bacon and pancakes and DELICIOUS!!!

Everyone moved to the living room where dad, per tradition, read the christmas story from Luke 2:

The first present opened was the CREEPIEST hug-me-elmo doll.  I don't think these video's fully capture how creepy it is:

The kids and EVERYONE had a great time opening presents!

Sadly, right after this I had to leave for Cleveland as I was working the next day.  I had a blast at home!!

I'll be Home for Christmas pt 1

I was lucky enough to get a few days off for Christmas, which I gladly spent in Philly.  The drive was beautiful.  I tried to get pictures of how nice the weather was, but, alas, this is as good as it got:

The first thing I got a video of when I arrived in Philly was Joel's Kate pretending (poorly) to be a flying squirrel.

I had luckly made it in time for Family home evening.  Dad read to the kids and played memory.  Everyone had a blast

I got to take a lot of selfies, starting with sister Jaida and her hubs, Ryan:

Until Sydney pushed me out of the picture

It's ok because Syd took some selfies with me

and Jasper

and Ivy

and EVERYONE!!

The next day, dad was working on christmas presents for the kids.  He had a bag full of things and I said he looked like Krampus.  What do you think?

Grandma let me help make a tie blanket.  It turned out amazing:

Dad showed me his awesome tie skills.  This is a trinity knot:

In the evening, Joel and Kate took me to Rose Tree Park to look at the lights.  We got some great pictures:

On Christmas Eve, I found the brass ducks of my childhood.  Mom use to use these as 1lb weights when she was doing arobics.  She offered to model for me:

Mom and I also made the fashion faux pas of dressing alike

Ok blog, get ready, this is one of the few pics you will ever see of me without ANY makeup.  I was lucky enough to get a few minutes with my nieces and nephews and brother in law on Christmas eve:
