From Anime to Shakespeare

Friday night was movie and pajama's night.  We all changed into our comfy pj's:
KW:

Mitch and Dom:

And me (blame KW for the poor picture quality):

We then settled in to watch The Secret World of Arrietty (movie chosen by KW)

It was pretty good as Anime's go.  They usually are not my cup of tea, but this one was worth watching.  After that I said we should watch "The Island":

But when we looked it up on netflix streaming, this came up and the boys decided we were going to watch this "The island" (Octob is russina for The Island I guess?).  I made it 10 minutes before promptly turning it off!

The next day we went shopping.  I recently bought a condo and KW bought a house (both have closing dates in July).  One of the most fun things about buying a new condo/house is the furniture shopping!  Here's a chair that we decided against since it made poor mitch look like a doll:

And then it was time to check out recliners:

We then went to Joann's to get yarn.  Mitch is an amazing crocheter, and promised KW a blanket for his new house.  While we were there we found the cutest little hats!

In the evening, KW and I went to see the shakespearian play As You Like It.  It was a free performance put on by the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival.  The play was at Notre Dame college in South Euclid:

I asked a lady there to take our picture and here's what happend:
Me:  Will you take our picture?
Lady:  Me?
Me:  Yes please?
Lady:  Oh, No, no, no.
And then she scampered off as quick as possible.

Back to they play:  It was SO good.  If you like quirky romances with cross dressing than this is the play for you!

I feel like we did pretty good considering we didn't start the weekend with having anything specific planned.
